There are no plans for that at the moment, since I want the player to be able to explore the town. True immobility generally falls into a bad-end, and there are a bunch where that happens already.
the update was doing its thing when i looked, i couldnt play, got scared for a bit. btw, i found a bug! if you just got the notification that your 'hard pressed to find everything soft by the touch', around 900 pounds, and you enter the shower, the script will bug or something? you go in a error screen. still love this game, and god its improving! love the color patterns!
If you're running the game in browser and in incognito mode, the game will be unable to save. I'd recommend using a downloadable version of the game to avoid these errors.
I suggest a mid-town area, so you don't have to go back and forth from your room every time you wanna go more than one place each day. Even if it's just like, the hotel lobby.
im being really critical here since i dont even mind but; the weight is a bit much. im pretty sure youre immobile at 1500 pounds. and the kilograms arent different IF im correct (the starting weight is different tho).
i saw the comment that every character will be able to gain weight, wich is awesome. so sofi already gains weight in youre 'relationship' with her, she is at her "maximum" weight quickly.
some things you might want to add, would be really cool!
-have a boy/girlfriend live with you, and feed you at a certain relatioinship/weight? -ehh, like real reproduction? like: - o
and do you know whats coming in youre future updates? to make me hyped :D
The weight is pretty unbelievable, but that's on purpose. Later in the game, it becomes apparent that the player's being influenced, and probably being corralled into more misadventures despite being a weight where they shouldn't be able to anymore.
Every character will be able to gain weight by the time the game is complete in mid-late 2021. Additional weights may be possible, but I've not figured out how I want to implement them yet. Having an NPC live with the player is already in the idea pool for the game, and there's a chance this'll be a thing one day. In terms of actual reproduction, etc, I'm afraid there are no plans for that.
The main pieces of upcoming content are the weight gain routes for all the characters. There's a broad number of secondary objectives, but it's all Patron-voted so even I don't know what they are yet!
im 97 % sure that this will be a dream come true when the full game is released! the other 3% is me thinking that i have lost an interest in weight gain over that period
can you please make it so that if you gain a certain amount of weight the deity will make you a nun witch will allow you to recruit people to your religion, go to places that are usually reserved for residents, and give you the option to set your weight, your size, and your mobility
I can't promise any of that, but somewhere down the line, who knows?
Canonically, the resident-only areas are actually pretty dull. They're zones the deity specifically hasn't messed with, since it needs at least /some/ mobile people to keep the town running and attract new tourists (ie. the player). Other locations may be fleshed out in future updates, but I'm focusing on the characters for the time being.
What browser are you using, and are you using the "incognito" mode for that browser?
In my experience so far, RenPy throws fits at incognito browser modes for some reason. If your problem persists, I'd recommend downloading one of the downloadable builds of the game instead.

Edit: Just played the game on Desktop Chrome with no issues. I've had some reports before about mobile chrome causing issues, and unfortunately it's just the way that Itch hosts the game. If that's the case then please try either the desktop builds of the game or the android build.

Where is the phone call that starts the end game event? Try as I might, I cannot get it to show up. I've had the visions multiple times and spoken to Bertha about it but no phone call. What am I missing?
After having visions of the deity, any bad-end (Except dreams) will take an unexpected turn and initiate the final quest. The end-of-game timer doesn't begin until you answer the phone though. Hope that helps! :)

It's just scene variety, unfortunately. There were requests for a comprehensive body-part system, but it would've stalled development by quite a long time. Maybe it'll appear in some capacity some day.

I think making them a actual character would be interesting and for what species they should be, I think them being a lizard (or some kind of other reptile) since they have dreams of being a dragon and just the idea of reptile coming to a place filled with mammals would be interesting.
I think having a ending picture with them depending on what ending you get (and maybe some small references to their specie sprawled across the game) would be the best way to execute.
But also maybe having a image of them in the mirror probably with her head cut off from the frame would be interesting to see as well (somewhat like images that show up when you're crushing Simon), plus maybe having photos for Matt's photo shoots and some other stuff. (unlike the mirror it would be tied to what weight you are)
I think this would add alot to the game, this would probably have to be it's own update though and maybe it being the last update would be cool.
There may be a "preset character" mode in the future, but I can't promise anything at this point. Having the player as purposefully ambiguous as possible is on purpose, and done so that people can imagine their own OCs in the game. This might change one day, but I'm yet to find a satisfying and technically-solid solution for it.
Also this is a tiny nitpick thing but Ripley coward ending when it says "her glowing wait" was meant to be weight and Hunk's (that's his real name right lol) run away with me, one of it's line is "how your failure" I think it's was meant to be his failure since you don't want to save the town.
But maybe I'm wrong

The blog feature was kind of a remnant of an earlier design of the game. It was originally a kind of investigation mystery-solving narrative, and the blog was how the player was going to keep track of clues. I dropped the idea because it was really cumbersome to implement, and ultimately was pretty unfun to work on. There were a few test builds where it was implemented, and it was basically just a huge menu. Not fun at all.
This was initially planned, but turned out to be difficult to implement in a satisfying way. For now the player character's just a "blank slate" and you can imagine them as whatever you like.
Well, you can try doing that again, i'd love to choose which species we want to be, it wouldn't affect much in the story except by some comments of the people around and the interactions with the mirror, I still love the game, but something like that would be really cool.
Blank state? I'm pretty sure that someone referred to my character as a fox... I don't remember if it was an NPC, the narrator or my own character but I'm sure I've seen that
Hey there, just wanna preface this with how I'm a big fan and I've been playing for a little while. I just got a new computer so I thought I'd download the game on it and it seems like I'm experiencing a bug where, no matter how much I gain it doesn't effect my mirror inspections or my interactions with other characters, leading to some kinda funny-moments where Simon chastises me for outgrowing my clothes but then disappointedly rubs my flat tummy. Is there an easy fix for this?
The last update scaled up a lot of old scenes, and it's a little wonky atm. Possibly, your character is gaining weight but isn't passing the thresholds for weight-checks, since they're too far apart at the moment. Expect a fix for this with the next update!
Looking at what you're doing for Update 10 I don't know why you're just stopping with Sophia. Why not just make the player a bad influence on everything?
I enjoy this game alot and I hope this gets finished but I do have a grip I feel there needs to be a time of day system and is it possabile to get earier builds? as I never got to see how fat old park ben got I remember one more thing I had a problem with in the hotel there should be more like a laptop or something else to do
A time of day system isn't planned, but something of similar functionality is, and should be included with the next public update. Old public builds are not available, sorry. "Old Ben" didn't actually have a weight-gain system attached to him. He was pretty bland, actually.
There are possibly more hotel activities coming with the next public build, but Patrons will be voting on it soon, so we'll see.
I love the game, playing a bit during update 7 an came back on update 9. Something that I feel should be added (unless you're already working on it or plan too.) Is like some visual novels. Is have some characters busy during some days, and not be allowed to compliment, flirt, ect more then once a day so you can't rush the relationships. I only played it a sshort bit. (Already love Simon) I complimented Simon twice in a row and already moved up to the next thing on day 1. It just seems a bit awkwaard for the line they say that early on
Seeing that you have capped the weight at 3300 lbs in 0.9 Patreon-Only build 3, I have to ask. Is this the final weight a player can achieve or do you aspire to go bigger in the future?
It'll be increased as more content is added. Currently it's capped because people kept hitting weights like 9999lbs and becoming disappointed that there wasn't any content up where they were hitting.
Howdy, just to update you on this. Android builds are a bit more complicated and require the Android SDK and emulation for test-purposes, which I currently don't have configured. I'm going to explore this though, and I'll reply to this thread once it's working. Cheers.
I quite enjoy the game, however I do have to ask if there are any plans to adding more descriptions and functions/hindrances when getting "larger" in the game.
As in, it would be interesting to see immobility or not being able to enter certain places due to all the chub being in the way.
It's an eventual goal for sure. Waking up/going to sleep/riding in taxi are all being expanded into multiple scenes depending on weight. Hopefully the rest of the game will follow the same structure eventually :)

im getting multiple errors when i save or do anything. Its telling me "the user has been denied access to database".

It's not planned, sorry. The player character is left intentionally ambiguous, so you can have your own headcanons about what they look like.

Oh! Yeah! There are two dreams where you're a fox and a dragon respectively, but it isn't canon.
Relationship-changing actions have diminishing returns. After three(?) compliments, flirts, etc, it's reduced to zero.
I'll make a note to add some "Alright, alright, you've complimented me enough for today!" text next update so that it's more clear.
