Howdy Gainers!

After 2+ years in development, I'm overjoyed to announce that the game has hit 1.0! All of the goals set at the start of the project are now completed, and myself and the team are comfortable selling the game.

Before I tell you details of what comes next,  I'd like to say a heartfelt "Thank you!" to everyone that's supported the project. Whether you're a Patron who has supported the game financial, or just someone playing and providing feedback. The game wouldn't have reached this point without you.

For Patrons

How do I get my free copy?

Any Patrons who supported the game at all, regardless of pledge, will receive an Itch.io key through Patreon DMs. For long-term supporters, you can expect some bonus keys for your friends as well!

What about Steam?

The Steam launch has been delayed for a few weeks, since the store page is still being set up and approved. If you would like a Steam key instead of an Itch.io one, please DM me on Patreon and I'll make a note to switch out your key for a Steam one when able.

For new buyers

My old saves don't work!

Sorry! Demo saves are incompatible with the release build of the game. A lot of technical changes happened since then, so please use a fresh save even if you've not encountered a problem yet!

I found a bug / I have a suggestion!

Please leave the details in the game's comments, or use the Discord link in the game's description and report it there. Bug-fixes usually go out within a day or so of being reported.

What's next and when's new content coming?

First and foremost, the team will be taking a well-deserved break from development for at least a few weeks. Maintenance and bug-fixes will still be provided, however. There's a sizable backlog of ideas for future updates, and you can expect to hear more about that at some point.

You may notice in the coming days that some of the formerly "WOTGDEV" accounts are renamed to "Cottage Games", and that the in-game splash screen now reads "Cottage Games" as well.  I'm proud to announce that this is because future projects (Some WG, some not) are now underway. When the Steam build goes live, it will be under the Developer "Cottage Games" as well.
